Back at the beginning of November I was contacted by Helena, the lovely designer and owner of the gorgeous little bridal headwear company HT Headwear. I’d been an admirer of Helena’s designs for some time, so when I opened her email and read she’d like me to photograph her new collection, I jumped at the chance! Yay!
Helena went on to tell me that her collection was largely based around birdcage veils, and the idea that the veil could be detached from the headband, meaning they are perfect for the evening celebrations too!
On top of having some beautiful headpieces to work with on the shoot, her Mortlake based studio is TO DIE FOR! It’s bridal headwear heaven, crammed full of her gorgeous creations surrounded by vintage props and accessories.
Below you can also watch a short behind the scenes video, filming courtesy of my partner, Rhoddy. We’re no dab hand at this whole video thing, so I appologise for the ‘artistic’ angles!! Perhaps you’ll like it’s imperfections?!
